Founded in San Diego, the company exists to bring craft-bar-caliber balance to homes, bartenders, restaurants, hotels, and event programs through a more reliable, more intentional cocktail base.

Founder story

The story began with a bartender who saw cocktails differently.

Cordial Craft was founded by Austin Davis, a mixologist, artist, and builder who found a natural connection between chemistry and cocktails. Behind the bar, balance was never just a flavor idea. It was a relationship between acidity, sweetness, dilution, texture, aroma, and timing.

Access without compromise

The goal was never to keep cocktail knowledge behind the bar. Austin wanted Cordial Craft to give people the tools to make balanced, high-quality drinks with confidence, regardless of training, skill level, or cocktail knowledge.

That purpose became especially clear watching his partner, Maia, make her own drinks with his products. For years, cocktails had been something he was relied upon to make. Seeing her excitement as she built delicious, balanced cocktails herself helped define the deeper mission: remove the barrier to entry without lowering the standard of the drink.

Austin's appreciation for chemistry eventually found a practical home in cocktails. Every measured ingredient, infusion, reaction, and adjustment became a way to prove an idea in the glass.
