House Build
How to make Ur-Ah-Nus.
Use the measured quantities below, then follow the ordered method.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz London dry gin
- 0.5 oz Cordial Craft Zero-Sugar Lime
- 0.75 oz passion fruit purée without added sugar
- 0.5 oz almond milk
- 0.25 oz velvet falernum, preferably John D. Taylor's
- Optional: 2 dashes toasted almond bitters
Supporting preparation and ingredient notes: Preferred purée: Les vergers Boiron 100% passion fruit purée. Cordial Craft prefers it for its vivid fruit character and reliable consistency; another 100% passion fruit purée with no added sugar works well, too. Purchase current stock from a reputable seller and follow the package’s storage instructions. Use velvet falernum for this build; John D. Taylor's Velvet Falernum is the preferred, commonly available example.
Method
- Add all ingredients to a shaker.
- Whip shake.
- Dump into a Collins glass.
- Top with crushed ice.
- Garnish with lemon twist wrapped around a cherry.
